My First Casting Furnace |
Here are some pix of my first furnace that I built. I did not think about taking
pix while building it, but you can figure out how it is done by looking at pix,
This was made from 5 gal. paint can using 3,000° refractory.
I made home built 3/4" forced air burner. I can melt aluminum, Brass and Bronze with this furnace and burner easily. Since building this, I have also done
others, a body lift furnace and a Mini Furnace, with more in my future projects |
